MY PASSION...
It was the JOY I felt after the activity...
The smiles of the elderly on their faces are still vivid,
Their rendition of songs expresses what they feel,
And their expressions of gratitude echo in my ears
As I put myself to rest after a full day with them.
What a day indeed…what a realization…
Making a Difference? Is this how it is?
All I know is I was happy doing things for them.
Dancing with them, listening to their stories.
Giving my time and showing them love and care.
They are responsible why I now have this passion.
The reasons the path of the unknown no longer lure in my restless soul
For now, my life's purpose is clear.
Yes, my spirit is now anchored with this passion,
Notwithstanding the intricate tapestries of life,
I will pursue this passion with the EQUANIMITY of my soul.
INSEPARABLE...
My head on my pillows, I think of you and the distance between us.
My heart unites with the time and space that separate us.
I close my eyes to synchronize the beating of our hearts,
Trying to dissolve the boundaries and imagine that you are with me.
I begin to think of the moments I had with you.
The happy times we had are like songs in my heart.
In the air that I breathe your love echoes and your passion reverberates,
Making our love soar and become stronger.
I stick these moments in my memory and heart and make them real at times I want to be with you.
Every expression of care reminds me of how much you love me,
Every act of thoughtfulness assures me of your love that is true.
A great love I will forever treasure till death do us part.
How I wish I have enough time to just think of all of these.
How I wish time and space will banish so that I will be with you forever.
At the moment this is impossible though, because we are miles apart.
I can only wish…I can only dream…but in my thoughts, in my heart and with my LOVE…I can make this REAL and FOREVER.
THE PATH TO FREEDOM OF SELF EXPRESSION... this blog is for people who are committed to living life with full awareness and consciousness. People who are fully aware of their accountability and responsibility in life. People who act on their heart's desire, who are empowered because they possess within them love and respect of self and of others, people who live with compassion for others, thus, serving their purpose in life which absolutely makes an IMPACT in this WORLD...

ATTITUDE...
I had a good sleep...I was not able to go online last night and when I wake up, I had these thoughts in mind ...Just want to share them with you...
I always tell myself that attitude plays an important role in one's life. As I think of my attitude towards life, I figured what I think of myself...my attitude...the who and the what I am as a person.
1. I think of myself as being independent, open-minded, sincere, truthful, loving and caring and most of all...nice and friendly.
2. My best strengths are my charisma, my good and effective communication skills, my attitude and character, and my wisdom and discernment over matters and circumstances I am faced with.
3. What keeps me going is my passion and zest for life. My desire to make sense and make a difference in my life and in the life of others.
4. If I could do anything I wanted to do, I would go to all people who are less fortunate and address all their needs. If I could only do this, I will be the happiest person in this world because I believe it is in making others happy that we find fulfillment and joy in our hearts.
5. I feel that I am special to someone when he/she gives me time and surprises. I love surprises...one just have to make sure that I will really be surprised. I know I am special because I will be able to feel it...hmmm...thanks to all the people who have surprised and who continue to surprise me.
6. I wish people will see me as a person who is easy to get along with. A lady who is compassionate, nice and kind. . . somebody who has wisdom and intelligence ... and who is happy and contented in life.
7. I believe that nobody's life is entirely free of pain and sorrow. It is about learning to live with them rather than trying to avoid them.
8. I am a person who maintains optimism amidst challenges in life because I am a woman of character. I will always consider challenges as liberating experiences.
9. My goal in life is to be able to serve a life with a sense of purpose.
10. Before my life is over, I want to leave a legacy because I want the goodness in me to continue in this world we live in.
In the end, it is not the WHO and the WHAT you are. Oftentimes, it is our ATTITUDE that matters and that makes us go through life...how we respond to our circumstances, how we make our choices and decisions...if we choose to be happy, then we will be happy...if we choose to be down spirited, then that will be our condition.
I choose to have a positive attitude towards life...because I know that it is this little thing that makes a BIG difference!

Mean People Suck...
I was there! Yeah, I was a witness and was so helpless...Why? I was not able to defend a friend because I was in a state of shock and I was caught unaware. As I try to listen, I was really trying to figure out what the issue is all about. I thought of not mediating because of the high regard I have for the President of the organization...he was there and so I know that I am not at all in a position to intervene.
It was an incident I will never forget in my life. Horrible indeed! I rarely get the chance to meet people who are mean. I can't figure out the untoward incident when I went home, so I consulted some friends and went to the extent of making a research about why people are MEAN and what options are available in order to deal with them.
When people are nasty and mean, I have learned that we should not succumb to our tormentor's power. We need to have a high sense of self-esteem and confidence and respond bravely but compassionately to our villain's attacks. We have to use our own power and exercise our freedom of self expression. It is also good if we can talk to the person about his or her behavior. This will serve as a wake up call to her. In this way, she or he will be able to realize things. We should never tolerate MEAN people. We must have a little patience and kill them with kindness. Well, we should realize that the problem is with them and not with us.
So, these are the things that we can do in order to face the challenges posted to us by MEAN people. Definitely it involves struggle but we should always take a strong determination to face squarely and fight the person.
Well, I believe it will always boil down to one's upbringing and breeding...It can also refer to his or her value orientation. In addition, it also reflects one's attitude towards other people...the person's skill on how he or she deals with people.
Point in case, we should never give anybody the chance to be MEAN to us. They do not have the right at all to be nasty, to be rude, to be judgmental and to lose control of their tongue and say hurting words to us.
When dealing with Mean people, bottom line is to be calm and not to lose your control.
QUOTES:
Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you - not because they are nice, but because you are. ~Author Unknown
Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again. ~Og Mandino
I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again. ~William Penn
There is overwhelming evidence that the higher the level of self-esteem, the more likely one will be to treat others with respect, kindness, and generosity.--Nathaniel Branden

IMPLEMENTATION & MANAGEMENT SCHEME
As early as March 2011, preparations for the campaign already started through coordination with some target partners for the advocacy campaign. This campaign concept was, in fact, drafted based on the results of several talks/consultations with the following groups:
1. Pagkakaisa ng mga Katutubong Ayta sa Kamias
2. Indigenous Peoples Apostolate Holy Family Academy
3. UCCP San Jose Gumi, Sta. Cruz, Lubao Parish
4. Center for Environmental and Development Studies (CEDS), Incorporated
A broad network will be convened, members of the above groups and also by other target groups in Pampanga (and even from nearby provinces) that will join and adhere with the Basis of Unity of the alliance for advocacy campaign. Representatives of the above four groups together with other potential partners shall later assemble as a steering committee once the network is successfully called together.
Sponsorship of activities and/or partnerships will be entreated from central and college councils, regional organizations of students from Central Luzon, fraternities/sororities and varsity organizations, academic organizations, artist/theater/literary groups, teachers associations, non-academic personnel associations, social sciences and social work departments, religious groups and other civic groups.
Likewise, coordination will be done with various Dioceses of the Roman Catholic Church and the Protestant churches and its member church organizations especially their mandated youth organizations. The purpose is to generate active participation at the level of the parish or local church.
After the steering committee of the network is called together, formation of a secretariat shall follow to ensure implementation of plans and activities in this campaign from coordination and mobilization, primarily of Pampanga-based partners/organizations to facilitation and coordination of various activities with partners.

SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE PEOPLE! RESIST MINING IN MT. ABO!
BACKGROUND SITUATIONER
I. Mining Mt. Negron
Decades have passed since the discovery of the Pisumpan Copper deposit in 1972 . According to locals, drilling operations for exploration of the minerals began in the early 1990’s, while Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region III places Pisumpan Copper Mines Inc’s (PCMI) application for a mining permit (MPSA-P-III-8) on April 12, 1991.
PCMI’s registered owner is Juvencio Dizon, one of the major stockholders of Dizon Copper Silver Mines Inc (DCSMI), DCSMI was responsible for the mining of the Dizon Mines in San Marcelino, Zambales. Dizon Mines carved out chunks of the Zambales Mt Range causing the loss of almost 500 hectares of mountain topsoil and the flooding of Ayta villages after mine tailings overflowed into the Mapanuepe lake (Aug 30) and the eventual collapse of the spillway of the tailings dam (Sept 11) during heavy rains that started in July 2002.
The Pisumpan Copper Deposit being applied for has an area of 1,164 hectares and is within the ancestral domains of the Aytas of Porac. As locals would have it, the area that would be mined is located at the very heart of Mt. Negron (Mt. Abo to the Aytas). It is where the Porac-Gumain River springs from, providing water to the Aytas of nearby sitios, traversing down to the irrigated farmlands of Floridablanca and Lubao.
Since 1991, PCMI has been engaging in aggressive outmaneuvering in order to secure different certificates they need for the approval of the mining permit to which the Aytas have also been responding aggressively in registering their disapproval of the project.
Just last March 12, 2011, representatives of PCMI, DENR, NCIP, and other local government units trekked to Brgy. Camias to conduct a consultation with the Aytas for the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment ) of PCMI’s application. PCMI also introduced representatives of Shuley Mine Inc, as one of their mining operators. Streamers made of hand-painted sacks hung all over the community echoing the Ayta’s position on their disapproval of the mining project.
Shuley Mine Inc is owned by Antonio Co who is also, a major stockholder of another mining giant, the Carascal Nickel Corporation (CNC). SMI mined in 2010 the Nonoc Nickel Project in Surigao del Norte and became the 6th largest producer of nickel in the Phil.; CNC, on the other hand, has been mining in Carrascal, Surigao del Sur, making CNC as the 2nd highest nickel producer last year.
II. At What Cost?
A. Aytas
A number of Ayta settlements have put down their roots in the mountains of Pampanga. After surviving the Pinatubo eruption and its aftermath, Aytas journeyed back to their promised land; they rebuilt their lives and are patiently restoring the abundance of their ancestral lands. Presently, Mt. Abo has become a rich part of the Zambales Mountain Range.
Mt. Abo is their food basket from where they gather their consumption needs (puso ng saging, talbos, patikwang, paniki, bayawak, lamiran, musang, litlit, hipon, suso, biya, etc.). Mt. Abo is their farmland where they harvest crops (gabi, ube, saging, papaya, langka, kalabasa, patani) and sell to the sakadora so that they may buy their other needs. Mt. Abo is their pharmacy from where they acquire their medicinal plants. The rivers flowing from Mt. Abo is the main source of water for the Sitios of Liplip, Cuyucot, Patal Apalit, Pasbul, and Brgy. Camias. Water from the river is used for bathing, laundering, and irrigation. On the other hand, the community drinks from the springs surrounding the river. The rich mountains give them life. If the mining prospers, their plight would be no different from fishes dying from dried up rivers.
B. Agriculture and Livelihood
The river springing from the heart of Mt. Abo traverses from the west side of Camias down to Pasbul then continues to the east side of Nabuklod. Its meandering route continues down to the west side of the Basa Air Base and then flows to the irrigated farmlands of Floridablanca and Lubao.
The source of the Porac-Gumain River falls under the area applied for mining; this may cause the drying up of the rivers and springs thereby affecting the peasant communities of Florida and Lubao. Mining causes a phenomenon called AMD, acid mine drainage, as a result of extraction of minerals detrimental acidic elements or particles spread through the air, land, and water. High levels of acidity cause the death of organisms present in the land and rivers.
C. Environment
Porac has a total land area of 34,310 hectares, making it the biggest municipality in Pampanga. The Aytas are currently seeking for the approval of the 17, 659 hectare CADT application, 6.59% of this is under PCMI’s mining application. There are still 3 mining applications awaiting approval in DENR-MGB’s list. If the mining shall push through a larger part of the mountains will be lost and carved out, the empty chunk of Zambales’ Dizon mines will be a very familiar and haunting site for the Aytas and Kapampangans.
The Porac-Gumain River Watershed is the source of water of nineteen barangays with a total alienable and disposable area of 10,634 has. and forestlands of 7,392.97 has. Forestlands surrounding this watershed are covered with natural forests, permanent crops, such as bananas and fruit trees, and thick brush lands. The Pinatubo eruption has taught us how lahar naturally flows from the mountains to the plains by taking the route of the river. Similarly, when over spilling of mine tailings dam happens, or worse, collapsing of spillways and dams, its natural route would be the rivers flowing down the plains, damaging anything and everything that come its way.
We have had unfortunate lessons on the root causes of landslides, soil erosion, and flash floods caused by massive and indiscriminate logging. More than cutting down trees, mining carves out mountains, lessening the soil that would absorb large amounts of water from strong typhoons that come upon us. Mining is a man-made calamity that aggravates effects of other environmental calamities.
III. Defending Mt. Abo
DCSMI signed a MOA with mining giant Benguet Corp. in 1975 before the open-pit mining started operating in 1977. After 17 years of operation, 110, 032, 257 million tons of ore were milled. Benguet Corporation describes the Dizon Mines as one of the successfully mined ore bodies in the Philippines.
Who benefits from “successfully” mined ore bodies?
The people of San Marcelino, Zambales inherited from this “successful” mined ore body a 500-hectare carved out mountain and a 1000-hectare poisoned lake. The Aytas living in the area had to endure the most devastating effects of open-pit destructive mining, the destruction of their homes and source of livelihood.
The Pisumpan Copper Deposit is believed to be 20 M metric tons with a copper grade of 0.41% and a gold grade of 0.6 g/t . SMI boasts that products from their 4,000 hectare Php 82.44 M Nonoc Nickel Project will be 100% exported to their main clients in China . For how long will they continue lure Chinese investors with our minerals? What will become of the Porac-Gumain River? How long shall it take before another breakage of mine tailings dam happen, or a landslide, or a flashflood? What will become of the Aytas’ Mt. Abo?
Mining in the Philippines is a very destructive undertaking. It destroys mountains, wipes out forests, poisons lakes, dries up river systems, acidifies farmlands, damages irrigation canals, erodes lands, demolishes homes, kills people and threatens existing indigenous peoples communities. Wanton destruction is possible because regime after regime, the government sells our mountains for low-cost mineral extraction to ensure the highest superprofits for the foreign mining giants.
Ensuring low-cost mineral extraction means that social, environmental, and ecological costs are kept only to the paper in minute amounts. Superprofits come first before environmental and socio-cultural damage. The foreign mining giants are voracious monsters feeding on our minerals, timber and the sweat and blood of our workers. Their cohorts, the most perseverant implementers of Mining Act of 1995 and the Investors Lease Act race to offer the biggest chunks of the mountain and serve the minerals on silver platter complete with ensured profit schemes and incentives for dessert.
Section 18 of Mining Act of 1995 (RA 7942) states that “all mineral resources in public or private lands, including timber or forestlands…” shall be opened to mining operations. Section 4 of Investors Lease Act of 1993 (RA 7652) states that “any foreign investor shall be allowed to lease lands for a period of 50 years, and renewable once for 25 years.”
The people are left to feed with nothing but spoiled leftovers – damaged river systems, carved out mountains, high levels of acidity in land, water, and air. No land to till or hunt for the IP communities. No rivers to irrigate farmlands. No clean air to breathe. More importantly, lesser minerals for the wise utilization of the generations ahead of us.
Our country is in a total mayhem. Our own rich natural mineral resources are used to worsen our impoverished conditions, cause the death of our people, and are used to rob the future generations. On the other hand, the people who defend our land against exploitation, plunder, and destruction are persecuted.
Brgy. Capt. Bienvenido Capuno was among the staunchest leader of the Aytas of Porac. After two community consultations that registered a disapproval of the project, he was shot dead on September 2005. Since then, military detachments have been a stubborn stain enveloping Ayta settlements in fear, fright, and unrest. At the height of military deployment in mining areas, there were several occasions when time allotted for food gathering was reduced for they were forbidden to sleep in their gasak. Peace was disrupted when members of the community were made to point fingers at each other in fear of ruthless harassments, enforced disappearances, or so as not to compromise their families’ safety.
Through the years, the roads to Mt. Abo have been changing, old logging roads have become constructed roads all in the name of ecotourism, if we let this “development” pass by us, these roads might turn into mining roads or combat trails needed to protect mining interests. The question at hand is, who would really benefit from these roads? Logging companies? Tourists? Land speculators? Developers? Landgrabbers? Mining corporations? The government?
What service would a constructed road bring to the landless Aytas?
Development measured by the amount of minerals extracted or superprofits earned is development in the eyes of voracious foreign mining giants and their profit-greedy cohorts. As long as our mining policy and its implementers have foreign capital as their motive drive, mining aggravates more problems rather than solves them. Corporate social responsibility pushes for more exploitation, plunder, and destruction by prettifying the reality of irreparable environmental, ecological, and socio-cultural damage. If this prevails, we, as a nation shall inherit not only carved out mountains or poisoned rivers, but worse, a murky future darker than the mine tailings they leave behind.
In the eyes of people defending our land, life, resources, and rights, development should be measured on how we as a nation utilize and cultivate our resources to achieve a self-reliant economy with the upliftment of its people from their poverty stricken lives as its motive drive. Development is measured by how much we have given back to the people, our primary riches, not how much we have taken from them.
It is not in taking the last frontiers of our indigenous brothers and sisters but rather in how much have we helped in restoring the abundance of our life-giving mountains. It is not in the confiscation of lands of the farmers but more so in awarding them land to till, that they may harvest and sell their produce at prices that would sustain their needs, not at prices imposed on them by cartels to generate profits. It is in providing for wages that uplift the conditions of workers and security in their jobs, not institutionalizing contractualization or dehumanizing wages dictated by profit-greedy owners.
What good would settle foreign corrupt-ridden debts do to a generation robbed of their future?
Our minerals are ours to cultivate and develop for the benefit of the majority of the people in this generation and that which will succeed us. It should not be used to pay off corrupt-ridden foreign debts in order to amass new and larger debts or finance the greed of the privileged few. This will only materialize when we achieve a time where we mine our minerals based on a systematic, responsive, and planned industrialization policy with the utmost consideration for environmental, ecological, and social costs.
We are challenged to Defend Mt. Abo, Defend our Land and Resources against plunder, exploitation, and destruction.
We are called to make a stand to support the Aytas and other indigenous peoples in defending the mountains and its minerals for wise utilization and cultivation of resources under a self-reliant economy against wanton destruction of profit-greedy, foreign-serving government.
Thanks to Sr. Vangieh for this forwarded email. I just thought of having this posted here in my blog for information purposes.

Would you help a stranger?
Today is June 27, year 2011. This is a day to remember because something meaningful happened to me. Just want to share this with you...
Naka mind set ako to be domesticated and to do some errands...I finished cleaning the house (with the help of Diana) and finished cooking our lunch before 12:00 noon. So, after us nag lunch, I and Gizelle, my daughter, went to SM Pampanga.
Our first destination is to pay our Internet Bill...hmmm....daming nagbabayad, so nakipila ako. It took me about 30 minutes bago ako nakapagbayad. After that, told Gizelle na punta us ng National Book Store, as expected, a bookworm would always want to hang out in the book store.
So papunta na kami ni Gizelle, we were walking towards National Book Store na, when all of a sudden a lady approached me. The lady is about 5 feet tall, me dalang bag at some papers. Sa tingin ko she is on her late 30's. She approached me and asked me if I can help her.
I thought she will just ask for a direction or ask something, but to my surprise...waaahh...sabi n'ya..."Kasi po Ma'am I will have my Medical Exam today at 2:30. I applied here in SM kaso di naman po kami na inform na dapat naka dress kami. Kung puede po sana, hihiram ako ng damit." waahhh....laking gulat ko! Sabi ko, "Anong damit? I do not have any dress except what I am wearing." I was talking to her in English and Filipino. Me mga mura namang damit dyan?" Of course, I was hesitant...waahhh...I will wear her dress? Kalokaa...sabi ko sa sa kanya..."I can't wear your dress..." and she said, " Ma'am wala po kasi akong pambili. Meron po akong P1,500 pesos lang sa wallet ko, budget ko na po kasi yun." This time, I looked at Gizelle, sabi ko, "Kawawa naman Seng, teka lang tulungan muna natin." Sabi ko sa kanya, "Ok, me extra naman akong damit dito,(I brought with me extra cycling and blouse kasi nga umuulan ulan)pahiram ko nalang tong dress ko and ito nalang suot ko tong dala ko."
So we went to the Restroom. Ano pa nga ba, so hinubad ko yung black dress ko, and handed it to her. I checked on her purse at sabi ko, "Dalhin mo nalang yung P500.00 pesos kasi baka you need to be in shoes. So bili ka nalang ng mura." Nakinig naman s'ya kasi naka tsinelas nga lang dahil sa me mga baha. So nagpalitan kami ng phone numbers, Gizelle gave her number and got her number. He name is Regina(not her real name). I told her that we will just be at Mc Donalds and that she can text us pag tapos na s'ya. She sai, "Ma'am, thank you po talaga, kakahiya man po." Sabi ko, "I understand, Good luck!"
Naghiwalay na us after that, when suddenly, sabi ni Gizelle, "Ma, sabihan mo nalang din s'ya na manghiram ng shoes sa mga saleslady kung talagang wala syang pera." So I got Gizelle's point, kaya hinabol ko na naman s'ya to tell her what to do. Sabi ko, "Puede ka nalang din manghiram ng shoes sa mga employees, kung sandali lang naman." and she said, "Oo nga po, Ma'am. Sige po, salamat po ulit. Text nalang po ako." and then we parted.
We were there for more almost two hours. Tapos, Gizelle went to the Restroom, ako naman naiwan kasi nakita ako ng former student ko. Nagkumustahan us, the usual. Tapos, after few minutes, Gizelle sent me a text message na punta na daw ako sa National ulit. So I went to see her.
So I asked her, how was it. She also told me na kailangan daw nya ng certificate from a doctor about her operation. She was asked to submit it.
So habang papunta us na naman sa restroom, tinanong tanong ko s'ya. A friendly query lang naman about herself. Nalaman ko na she is working in Clark sa Call Center, she is 33, and she lives in Cerhil Subdivision in San Fernando, Pampanga. That her family name is Santos(not her real family name). The family name sounds familiar. So I asked her how is she related to Ma'am Santos, a former colleague in my former school. She told me that her husband is her uncle. What a small world indeed. In addition to that, she told me that she is applying for a sales supervisor for the new SM in San Fernado market.
Sabi ko, no worries, ako nalang maglaba. Tapos, I asked her kung saan pa s'ya punta. Sabi n'ya pauwi na sya. Sabi ko naman, me bilhin pa kami at we need to drop by sa Betty's to buy cassava cake. Then, I said thank you sa binigay nya, nag beso beso usat naghiwalay na.
I need to process the whole situation and so I started asking myself. These are some of the questions that came to my mind.
Unang tanong ko sa sarili ko was, paano kung I rushed at tinalikuran ko s'ya. I coud have said..."Sorry, ha, nagmamadali kami." Just to avoid her because I do not totally know her....KASO HINDI AKO ITO...THIS IS NOT ME...
What if, tinulungan ko nga s'ya at peke pala s'ya at me maitim na balak like pinaamoy ako ng kung ano just to get what I have in my bag? waaahhh...HMMM...WALA NAMAN SA ITSURA N'YA...I WAS TALKING TO HER AND ASKING HER IN ENGLISH, MATINO NAMAN. I TOOK THE RISK...BASTA I WANTED TO HELP WITH AN OPEN HEART....
Why me? Inisip ko, am I being tested as to my consistency on my passion to help? DAHIL SIGURO AKO ANG NAKATAKDANG TUMULONG. DAHIL SIGURO ANG OPPORTUNITY PARA MAKATULONG AY DI KO PAPALAMPASIN.
THIS IS A DEEP INSIGHT...NAISIP KO LANG...ITO AY ISANG KAISIPAN...
What if the stranger was Jesus in disguise trying to see if I would help a complete stranger in need? THIS IS A SPIRITUAL INSIGHT...YES, FOR THE LORD'S PRESENCE IS IN OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO ARE IN NEED OF HELP. I wanted to cry...right now, I have this feeling...I thank the LORD for my faith, my principles, my wisdom and my values in life.
I know in my heart that I will forever be a woman of Faith...I thank the Lord because I responded to the call to help the lady...ayaw ko din namang mangyari sa akin yun someday...I helped her because one day I may be the stranger who needs help. Salamat at meron akong feeling of RESPONSIBILITY and SYMPATHY sa aking kapwa.
Indeed, to help a stranger is the best experience for me...kasi di ko s'ya kilala. Madaling tumulong sa taong kilala mo, but to help somebody you do not really know is a RISK. Buti nalang I did not hesitate, buti nalang bukas ang puso kong tulungan s'ya....Now I have JOY in my heart because I know that I was able to help.
In life, we are given opportunities to help and I believe that God has in store for us wonderful opportunities and ways to serve Him. Indeed, the experience I had was an opportunity for me to serve the Lord and to fulfill my purpose and bring greater glory and honor for Him. And with the incident I have experienced, my heart says, THANK YOU LORD FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!

Inspirational Quotes...
I love reading inspirational quotes. Why? Because they are my source of inspiration in my life. Reading quotes has actually become a habit and I choose to be inspired with these quotes. I bask on them because they give me HOPE that brings me another perspectives and a new level of awareness.
So, may these quotes about life inspire you the way they have inspired me...Happy reading...
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.”
Buddha quotes
Hmmm...I always use the power of my thinking in my work and in my personal life....It pays to have positive thoughts...I have used this to my advantage...a sample situation is...when I train and coach somebody, I would condition my mind that he or she will win...Hmmm....having taught and prepared all the things that need to be done and all things being equal...BINGO...even with the projects and activities that I handle, I use my POSITIVE thoughts and of course my FAITH...I always believe that what dwells into our hearts and our minds is what we attract into our lives...
"The brain is capable of millions of different things. It can take us to a higher level of our existence, where we can actually understand the world in a deeper way, where we can understand our relationship to things and people in a deeper way, and we can ultimately make more meaning for ourselves and our world. We can show that there's a spiritual part of our brain, it's a part that we all can have access to, and it's something that we can all do."
- Dr. Andrew Newberg M.D.
Excellence is attained through a repetition of what we do which ultimately become a habit, sometimes resulting to perfection...We become who and what we are because we are consistent with what we do. Impressions of people on us are based on what we repeatedly do...and so we are known for excellence because it has become part of our system...an act that has become a habit.
"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." - Aristotle, Greek philosopher (B.C. 384-322)
We have to truly love life without counting its cost...when we know we have done everything for it, when we have given everything we can to love it, in return it will love us back with overflowing blessings....Out attitude towards life will definitely define that kind of life we will have...so that if we LOVE life, I am sure, LIFE will love us back. So we should always ENJOY life because it is a BLESSING...
Our
lives is a series of defining moments, strung together by passing time.
Surrender fully to this moment, because it is not the moment itself that
defines us, but how we choose to live in it.”--Jill Pendley
So TRUE..Love begets love...what we sow, we reap...love unconditionally and others would do the same to you...HATRED should NOT reside in our hearts for this can KILL us...kill our SELF and our SOUL...We should learn how to FORGIVE...for in forgiveness there is FREEDOM...
We must always be the first to change before we can change the world...the change we make today changes tomorrow....If we desire to live a peaceful life, then we must desire to bring about peace, by first being at peace with ourselves...we should always LIVE WHAT WE PREACH and WALK OUR TALK.
As I end, I have resolved that I would like to LIVE, LAUGH and LOVE as I journey to life. I will always choose to have a life of LOVE, PEACE, MEANING and JOY, keeping my FAITH and TRUST in the LORD.
